About Laurence

Laurence's career as a toastmaster draws, not only on his training and experience as a member of the National Association of Toastmasters, but from many other walks of life in which he has been involved.

A trained statistician, Laurence worked for ten years for an intergovernmental organisation in France and for twenty years in The City as a manager at a successful financial information company. It was in these positions that he honed his skills as an organiser, speaker and presenter – skills that are ideally suited to use as a toastmaster. Laurence runs his own training company specialising in personal development and business skills and also sits as a magistrate in an inner London court.

As a toastmaster, Laurence has worked with some of the major banqueting managers at some of the best London venues such as The Grosvenor Rooms, The Langham and Portman Hotels and The British Museum. He can help you organise your function whether it be a Wedding Reception, Bar/Batmitzvah Party, Award Ceremony, Civic Event, AGM, Charity Event, Fashion Show, Product Launch or even a Royal Visit!
